Along with all Portsmouth practices we close the surgery on one Wednesday afternoon each month, to enable the whole practice team to attend training as part of an initiative which is organised/facilitated by our commissioners, the Portsmouth Board of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB). These training sessions are called TARGET sessions.
There are notices on the main entrance doors of the practice giving the dates affected and we will also be adding the dates for the closures to this website.
On a TARGET days we will close at 1pm and will not re-open until the following morning.
