Our new telephone system is now up and running, we hope you notice a difference when you call us.
When you call, there are new options for you to choose so please listen carefully:
To book, cancel or amend an appointment with one of our Reception Care Navigators, you should press 2. This option will take you through to one of our highly trained Care Navigators who will listen to you and signpost you to the most appropriate service for your problem. This may be a telephone appointment with a GP (who will book you in for a face to face appointment if required), a face to face appointment with one of our Advanced Clinical Practitioners who are able to see and diagnose a variety of problems, a consultation with one of our multi-disciplinary team such as Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, MSK Physiotherapists or Care Coordinators, or the team may signpost you to Community Pharmacy for advice about something they can help with.
To Speak to our Prescription team about a problem with a prescription such as missing medication, please press 3. Please note, we do not take prescription requests via this option or any other as we do not accept these over the telephone. Any requests for medication should be placed in writing via the main Reception desk, via email to [email protected], or via your local pharmacy. This line is available between 11am and 2pm.
To speak to our Secretarial team for information about a referral or an insurance report, please press 4. Please note however that we are unable to help with not having been given an appointment by other services as we have no control over this. If you need to chase an appointment you should contact the department you have been referred to, directly. This line is available between 11am and 2pm.
For general enquiries and test results, please press option 5 to be passed through to our Care Navigation team.
In the coming weeks we will also be re-instating our automated appointments line enabling you to book available appointments or to cancel/amend an existing appointment.
