NHS England have now released the eligibility criteria for the Spring booster campaign.

Patients over the age of 75 years, those living in a Care Home for older people and immunosuppressed patients aged 5 years and over are the only cohorts who will be offered vaccinations for this campaign.

We are currently in the process of vaccinating the care homes that fall under our remit and we will then move to the over 75 cohort, beginning with those patients who are housebound. Unfortunately we are unable to offer vaccinations to any patients under the age of 18 so any patient who are 5-18 and fall into the immunocompromised category will need to visit the NHS website to find their nearest vaccination centre. If you are not included within the strict cohorts we have to abide to, we will be unable to offer you vaccination for this booster.

Please do not call the surgery to enquire about the COVID vaccination programme as this will overwhelm our lines. We will be in contact when we have available stock and are able to offer you an appointment.
