Delay for patients transferring to The Drayton Surgery

We are sorry to inform you that the planned transfer of patients from North Harbour Medical Group to The Drayton Surgery on the evening of Monday 27 February has not been able to happen due to a technical error with the clinical IT system. The issue meant patient notes were not able to be sent to us so the transfer could not go ahead.

Colleagues across the NHS are working with the IT system supplier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, with the transfer now scheduled to take place on the evening of Tuesday 28 February.

This means that North Harbour patients who are being transferred to our practice will now be able to access our services from Wednesday 1 March.

Until then, if you require urgent medical help today, please contact North Harbour Medical Group and they will try their best to help.

Alternatively, you can contact NHS 111 by visiting www.111.nhs.uk or by calling 111. If you have an emergency or life-threatening medical enquiry, call 999 or attend the emergency department.

We ask you to not contact our practice or North Harbour Medical Group during the transfer period. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
