Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Rhiannon Nelson (f)

Rhiannon is an Advanced Nurse Practitoner and works alongside the Duty Doctors in the Triage and Duty Clinics.  She is able to deal with a wide range of problems and is also able to prescribe medication in some circumstances.  Prior to joining the practice Rhiannon worked as a Paramedic.

Mrs Diane Broad (f)

Di is an Advance Nurse Practitioner who previously worked in A&E at Queen Alexandra Hospital.  She can deal with a wide range of problems and can also prescribe medication.  Di works alongside the duty doctor in the Triage and Duty clinics each morning and afternoon.

The doctors have employed their own nurses for well over 20 years. Their role has expanded over the years and now includes monitoring clinics for diabetes, asthma and hypertension; well woman clinics (includes family planning advice, pill checks and hormone replacement); childhood and travel vaccinations; and new patient medicals.
Nurse Joanne England (f)

Jo has been with the practice since 2005.  Her special expertise is in the management of Leg Ulcer Dressings and Learning Disability Reviews as well as all the other Treatment Room duties and clinics.

Jo works part time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday AM's usually.

Nurse Karen Ramshaw (f)

Karen works across both sites and specialises in COPD and Asthma clinics although also provides Travel and Well Woman clinics.

Mrs Lucy Yeomans (f)

Lucy will be covering as a locum for us at various times throughout the year. 

Mrs Lizzie Rudd (f)

Lizzie joined the practice in early 2017 and provides practice nurse sessions at The Wootton Street branch surgery.

Nurse Jane Dilloway (f)

Jane has recently joined us as our new Nurse Manager. 

Treatment Room Nurses

Nurse Victoria Marshall (f)

Vicky works in both the NHS side of the practice and the private side of the Practice.  She is a Treatment Room nurse and is also developing skills in Chronic Disease Management - i.e. Diabetes care.

Healthcare Assistants

We have a trained HCSW to run new patient check, blood pressure and other minor clinics.
Mrs Julie Ettiene (f)

Julie joined us as a receptionist initially but has now developed her role to become one of our Health Care Support Workers.


Mrs Linda Harper (f)
Linda joined us at the beginning of February 2014.  She will be running Phlebotomy clinics, BP clinics and ECG clinics.  She will also be assisting the nurses at Immunisation clinics and the Doctors at Coil Clinics and Minor Operation Clinics.
Mrs Debbie Porter (f)

Debbie will be joining the Healthcare Assistant team in early January 2017.  she will be working across both sites in her split role as a receptionist and an HCA

Mrs Laura Collins (f)

Laura has recently joined the practice - she is an experienced Health Care Support Worker and is currently part way through her nursing degree.
