Dr Gill is the longest serving partner at the practice.

Apart from providing General Medical Services to our NHS patients Dr Gill is also a registered Occupational Health Doctor.

Dr O'Rourke is one of two GP Trainers at the practice and is involved in the training of both Medicals Students and Trainee GP's

Dr Egelstaff is one of two GP Trainers at the practice and is involved in the training of both Medical Students and GP Trainees.

BSc (London 1998) MBBS MRCP DFFP MRCGP

Dr Drake carries out Minor Surgery Clinics and is regularly involved in training Medical Students

MBBS (London 1986) DRCOG DFFP MRCGP

Dr Raymakers runs a regular Coil clinic and is also involved in the training of Medical Students.

MBBS, D A Diploma in Anaesthesia, MD (Anaesthesia), FRCA (Primary), DFSRH, MRCGP

Dr Parmar has recently become involved with the training of Medical Students.

Dr Patel joined us in August, 2010.

As well as providing General Medical Services for our NHS patients Dr Patel has qualifications in Occupational Health.

In addition to this Dr Patel also operates a Minor Surgery clinic in association with Dr Drake and is also involved in the training of Medical Students.

Annie is our Nurse Practitioner and assists the Doctors with providing a daily Triage clinic.

Annie is also our Diabetic Nurse Speciailist.

Annie works in the practice Full time.

Kirsten is one of our Occupational Health Nurse who assist Dr Gill, Dr Patel and Dr Kerr in providing a private Occupational Health Service to a variety of local companies and organisations.

Emma joined us in March 2012. She has a split role which involves general Treatment Room duties and clinics. 

Emma is also invovled with the Occupational Health side of the practice.

Emma is Full-time. 

Jo has been with the practice since 2005.  Her special expertise is in the management of Leg Ulcer Dressings and Learning Disability Reviews as well as all the other Treatment Room duties and clinics.

Jo works part time.

Karen joined us in February 2012.  Her role is primarily General Treatment Room clinics plus Asthma clinics.

Julie joined us as a receptionist a few years ago but has now developed her role tand took over when our Phlebotomist retired at the end of December 2011.

Julie's role will be developed further in the coming months to include Vit B12 injections and in the autumn - flu vaccinations.

Mrs Valerio is the Deputy Practice Manager and is available to assist with any problems in the absence of the Practice Manager.

Denise Hunt - Denise is responsible for the auditing, monitoring of data entry (clinical information), overseeing recall programmes for patients wiht Chronic Diseases and general support to the Management team.

Angela & Gill are involved in the administration side of the practice - from registrations to accounts.

The receptionists are your contact with the rest of the practice. They have the most difficult function in our team. The Supervisor of the reception team is Mrs Alison Tanner.

All our receptionists are highly trained and very experienced and will do their best for you at all times.

Secretaries We have three secretaries who are responsible for dealing with the doctors' typing, correspondence and patient queries

There is a team of District Nurses who are attached to the surgery to care for our patients.  They are based at Thomas Parr House, Medina Road in Cosham.

Their duties include visiting patients in their homes, giving practical assistance and professional advice to patients, relatives and carers in coping with illness at home.

Physiotherapist We have a part-time resident physiotherapist, employed by the local trust, who treats patients referred by the doctors. The half-day sessions are held three times a week.

Alcohol Interventions Team

The Alcohol Interventions Team (AIT) offers support, information, advice and signposting to individuals who drink above 'safe' levels of alcohol for whatever reason.

Verity is the Alcohol Interventions Practitioner covering the Drayton Surgery. If you feel you would benefit from support to make changes to your alcohol use, please either discuss a referral to the AIT with your GP, or call 02392 841753 to make a self referral. An appointment can be arranged at the Drayton Surgery or at a more convenient location for you.
