pad_and_penSuggestions & Complaints

We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice.

However, we are aware that things do sometimes "go wrong" resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint.

If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible.

Please contact the Practice Manager and she will set all the necessary wheels in motion to investigate what went wrong, why it went wrong, how we can put it right, and how to stop it happening again.

Further written information about the complaints procedure is available from reception. You also have the right to contact NHS England* instead of the practice if you wish to do so.

We are continually striving to improve our service. and genuinely welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement. There is a suggestion box located on the reception desk in the waiting area.

*PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the NHS organisational changes that became effective on 1 April 2013, the process for managing primary care complaints that was previously dealt with by the PCT will now be managed by NHS England.

If a patient wishes to complain they can either contact the GP practice direct or NHS England as follows:

Email:                                                     england.contactus@nhs.net

Contact Number:                             0300 311 2233

Postal address:                                   NHS Commissioning Board

PO Box 16738

REDDITCH

B97 9PT

If you have a comment or complaint about a hospital, mental health or community trust you should direct them to the relevant organisation or the local CCG.

PATIENT INFORMATION KIOSK

We have a new Patient Information Kiosk in the waiting room - It is an interactive touchscreen which has internet access and is for patients use.

You can access information about the practice, access medical information on the internet, give feedback about the care provided to you by the Doctors and Nurses and leave any other comments you would like.  Please do have a go - it is very easy to use and if you have any problems just ask the receptionist to assist you.
